Rover P4 Drivers’ Guild

Members and fans are anticipating another good year of events in 2023

-

The year 2022 was a successful one for the Rover P4 Drivers’ Guild. Regular events were in full swing during the year and the National Rally was incorporated within Roverfest 2022. Roverfest brought together a wonderful spread of cars, from all eras from the participating classic Rover clubs, in splendid sunshine. The guild also held its usual events at the Buckinghamshire Quainton Railway Museum and Northern National Lakes Rally.

Its Regional Group monthly meetings and associated events also provided important local interest for members keen to get involved. Its stand at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC drew much praise from those who visited it, especially when the magnificent JET 1 replica was fired up. It was very enjoyable for guild members to meet on the stand, alongside those who are simply interested in Rover P4s. There was also a very strong guild merchandise presence on the stand which attracted excellent sales.

The social media presence – guild website, Facebook group and Instagram – has continued to expand. The Facebook group continues to be very active and it’s encouraging that many then join the guild to enjoy the associated club benefits, e.g. specialist technical support, quality bi-monthly magazine, discounted insurance premiums and supplier discounts. New Regional Groups have been established in several areas of the country as well as some countries overseas. All these benefits being key to deliver value to guild members.

The guild is very much looking forward to the 2023 season, with its National Rally being held at RAF Museum Midlands (Cosford). roverp4dg.org.uk
