Origin: Atlantic Ocean from Denmark to Mauritania, as well as the Black and Mediterranean Seas.

Habitat: Rocky shorelines

Water requirements: Coldwater marine conditions; 1.021-1.025 SG, 8.2-8.5pH

Temperature: Can survive anywhere between 5-31°C

Temperament: Peaceful scavenger, but can bother other inverts with its boldness

Feeding: Scavenger that will eat any offered meat or vegetable matter. Will thrive on flakes and pellets
