Tank set-up

-

An ideal set-up for Blind cave fish would be a dark tank with some interesting rocks and pieces of slate as decor, and while they aren’t really social in the same way as most other tetras, they are best kept in groups. Some fishkeepers use midnight blue or moody red lighting over these tanks, which can look fantastic. Nocturnal fish can be kept with them if you want, including small catfish and loaches, which won’t mind the gloom of a ‘cave biotope’ one bit.
