Copperband butterflyfish

-

Copperbands are immediately recognisable and always coveted. They’re difficult feeders that will take Aiptasia and tubeworms, but only tend to do so when starving. The long mouth is especially prone to damage, especially in the confines of a bag during transport, and the success rate is low. Reportedly, Australian specimens have historically been hardier than those caught elsewhere. Will be outcompeted by tangs and foxfaces.
