Making a river manifold

A basic river manifold is straightfo­rward to make, and involves a few lengths of pipe that run under the substrate. At one end of the pipes, a couple of 90° bends are used to ‘periscope’ some pipes through the substrate and these are fitted with strainers. At the other, a couple of bends poke up the same way and connect to powerheads. Have a peek at the image below to get a better idea of what I mean.
