Focus on… A shore thing

You’ll find a beach to suit everybody when you tour in Scotland! Here are five of the very best to head for:

Family-friendly Nairn Beach, Highlands

This superb sandy beach in the heart of Nairn is very popular with families, particularly in the summer. Be sure to keep an eye on the horizon – this coast is also home to a much-loved school of dolphins. There’s a great range of walks in either direction, with a stunning nature reserve at Culbin Sands in the east and a fine viewpoint to the west.
