Practical Photography (UK) - - The Knowledge -

The government has just set out its revised drone laws. Under the new initiative, it is now illegal to fly your drone above 400ft (120m) or within 1km of an airport or airfield boundary. You must also ensure you are 150m away from people, property and built-up areas, as well as being required to make sure your drone remains within line of sight at all times.

While there are future plans for enforced drone registration afoot, they aren’t due to come into force until November 2019. The Civil Aviation

Authority, who is in charge of the country’s airspace, has also set up a new drone website with the relevant information. dronesafe.uk
