Tigerland

Practical Photography (UK) - - Wildlife Photographer Of The Year - by Emmanuel Rondeau

A team of rangers and I climbed rugged terrain with enough kit to set up eight still cameras along a route, hoping to glimpse a tiger passing by. We focused on areas with previous tiger records and looked for evidence of recent use, such as tracks or scratches. After 23 days, we hit the jackpot – a magnificent male tiger. He inspected the kit closely before disappearing into the forest, leaving behind this rare image.
