#10 Love the damp

Weather comes in gangs at this time of year, but it can offer some great photo opportunities, as John White (john.media) found while trekking the Welsh borders. “The work I really love is when I’m out in conditions that most people would think I’m mad to be out in. Having spent an incredible day out and about I noticed the cloud slowly lower over the hills. Being familiar with the location, I knew this happened from time to time and in the back of my mind I had always had a plan to do something with it. As I arrived at Black Hill the cloud was thick, even at the base. With the timer set, I headed up to stand atop the mountain. Returning to my camera, the amount of water settled on it was incredible – Nikon gets 100% for its weather sealing!”
