How & why we set out to create some fine art photos

Practical Photography (UK) - - Fine Arts At Home -

It’s not always practical to be outdoors during the winter months, when temperatures plummet and daylight hours are at a premium. So we thought it was a great opportunity to stay in the warm and have some fun creating inspirational fine art projects that anyone can achieve on a domestic table-top. We armed ourselves with an entry-level DSLR and kit lens combo, with the only additional accessory being a tripod – no specialist or expensive kit needed here. We used natural light and a simple household lamp for illumination, and everything we photographed can be found around the home or purchased easily and with very little financial outlay.
