Capturing an urban fox
With the ever-increasing pressure on what remains of our wild places, the urban environment is rapidly becoming an important refuge for our wildlife. Numerous species are continuing to adapt to life in our towns and cities, including foxes. A few summers ago I spent three weeks on the Lofoten islands. One night, while staying in the village of Henningsvaer, I was shooting some seabirds when I noticed movement in the corner of my eye. I turned and saw a dog fox in the trailer park watching me. I took a few shots before he turned and disappeared into the town.
