Now you know how to add text to your im­ages like a Pho­to­shop pro, here are some quick tips:

When you’ve drawn a text box, dou­ble-click on the ‘T’ in your Tool­box to quickly se­lect the text and edit it.

If you’d pre­fer your text to run down rather than across, you can use the Ver­ti­cal Type Tool from the Tool­box to make your writ­ing go ver­ti­cally down­wards.

The Ver­ti­cal Type Mask and Hor­i­zon­tal Type Mask Tools are quite spe­cial­ist, but turn any text you write into a se­lec­tion, which can be turned into a layer mask.
