This sorry looking specimen was once a saucy little RD125DX; long years stood idle in a French shed have clearly done it no favours. Although it comes with no paperwork (it is NOVA registered) it has matching numbers, the seller says the pipes are still solid and, despite the wretched condition, it’s all there. Neither a cheap nor easy resto this Yam will be hiding myriad other horrors waiting for its new owner. Sold for £360; only a full strip will reveal whether it’s worth salvaging...
Gary says: That looks more like it was dragged from a swamp. Chances are that if it’s that rotten on the outside, the hidden areas won’t be much better – Yams of this vintage weren’t built from the best metal. It’s a punt at that price, but at least you could make some cash back breaking it.
