Practical Sportsbikes (UK) - - News - davidsilvers

YOU’D HAVE to adore Honda and everything they did to get through this without a wry smile. Yes, Soichiro Honda was as close as any industrialist has come to genius. Yes, they made some great bikes. They also made some right horrors. Being a glossy advert for Dave Silver’s museum (and parts business) it’s no warts-and-all assessment of Honda’s output, yet makes a decent historical source book – and to its credit doesn’t skirt Honda’s near collapse in 1954. If you wear a 1976 yellow and green Hondastyle jacket, you’ll love this book. At £12 (or £25 limited edition hardback)
