What I’ve learnt

Practical Sportsbikes (UK) - - Moriwaki Vtr -

Get everything you need and assemble all the parts before you start, rather than try and fit things after you’ve bought them. Save you a lot of hassle.

Get all your boxes delivered to work or a mate’s house from the start. And don’t use your wife’s Paypal account!

Don’t be afraid to be individual, follow your instincts. Explore ideas.

Have good contacts. If you can’t machine parts from billet, get to know someone who can.

Know your limits. You have to actually finish the thing, so you don’t want to end up disheartened because you’ve bitten off more than you can chew.
