Kawasaki H2B 750
First the good stuff. The frame and swingarm have been powdercoated. The forks have been rebuilt. The cases have been blasted, as have the heads and two barrels. Now the bad; the third barrel was dropped and damaged so he’s bought another, but it needs boring and a matching piston. It’s also missing a seat and it’s not registered. H2s make strong dough, but this needs strong money spending on it too.
Gary says: Never underestimate the cost of rechroming pipes, mudguards and wheels. This part-finished resto could quickly spiral into a costly project; maybe the seller has realised this and is cutting his losses. If it’s cheap – under £3500 – it’d be worth having. But only then.
Much of it done, but by no means all of it
