WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Signs of track use: the SRADS were the first GSX-R750S since the Slingshots that made any sense on a circuit, so plenty got raced and/ or significant track day action (track days didn’t really exist pre-1990). Check plastic condition matches ’pegs and grips, and look for drilled sump plugs.
Surprisingly, Suzuki’s exemplary record on gearboxes took a knock with the SRAD; run it through second and third to check for jumping under load.
If you can smell petrol in the oil, the fuel pump could be failing. Engine should be quiet; a camchain rattle is an easy fix but good for haggling.
