Aussie Tony Castley’s Suzuki RG250 is no ordinary MK3 Gamma. It’s got no expansion chambers, it doesn’t smoke, and it won’t come on pipe at 8000rpm. But it is faster off the line than a stock RG thanks to its electric out-runner motor, powered by 120 lithium iron phosphate cells. Tony built it as a bike to ride to work – the range is 70kms – and it weighs only 5kgs more than standard, so handling is still sweet. See more at https:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngwmozoqvns
