Brazilian bounty

Practical Sportsbikes (UK) - - Ps World -

We love uncovering PS era bikes we’ve never heard of, like this – the Yamaha TDR180. Built by Yamaha Brazil between 1989 and 1993, using a DT180 as its base (itself a development of the DT175), this 16.5bhp air-cooled single gave fun-loving Brazilians a slice of Tdr-shaped lunacy without the price tag of the more exotic 250. They’re now a fave among south American restorers. No wonder.

The go-to resto for Brazilian PS nuts
