It was a week­end of mixed re­sults at the rain­swept Nor­folk track for many of the PS CRMC Su­per­stock­ers. We fol­low the for­tunes of novice Mike Gil­son, in his first ever race, and ex­pe­ri­enced cam­paigner Martin Forster

The sec­ond round of this year’s CRMC Superstock cham­pi­onship, at Snet­ter­ton in Nor­folk, was wet, windy and chal­leng­ing. Last year’s third place ti­tle fin­isher Danny Im­berg made his 2018 de­but at the Nor­folk track, tak­ing a win and a brace of sec­ond places to rocket him to third in the points stand­ings de­spite miss­ing the open­ing round at Pem­brey.

Veteran Gor­don Rus­sell took the open­ing win aboard his GSX-R750, with Im­berg and fel­low FZ750 cam­paigner John War­wick vic­to­ri­ous in the week­end’s other three out­ings.with con­di­tions vary­ing be­tween ap­palling and atro­cious, a to­tal of more than 70 rid­ers across all CRMC classes slipped off over the week­end. PS caught up with some new faces and bikes in this year’s Superstock class.
