BERNIE EYES TV GP DEAL
F1 ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone warned that GP bike racing would not only die, but be dead and buried if the FIM didn’t hand him the TV rights. Eventually Bernie got his wish, but by ’92 the FIM ended the contract and awarded the rights to Dorna instead. Motogp has flourished since Ecclestone’s exit.
