1994 Ducati 900SS, 1989 Gilera Saturno and Nordwest

Practical Sportsbikes (UK) - - In Your shed -

Owner: Andrew Whiteley, West Yorkshire Owned for: 10, nine and four-and-a-half years So far: Duke much-modded; all used regularly What’s next? Mallory and Cadwell trackdays

My Ducati 900SS has had extensive work and now fuels through 41mm Keihin FCRS and a one-off exhaust system with no link pipe made by Dean at Speight Engineering in York. The chassis is uprated too, with a Brembo radial mastercylinder, the frame’s been stripped and gusseted around the headstock. The Nordwest is standard except for a full Arrow system. I bought the Saturno off a friend who had two. The only mod is a 900SS mastercylinder. It’s a fabulous bike.

All Italian trio and nice hanging baskets
