Get round

Practical Sportsbikes (UK) - - What I Do -

With the side wobble fixed, the wheel is now checked for round, running the pointer both above and below the rim. Where the rim is too far away from the pointer, spokes pulling right and left should be tightened equally while the ones opposite the bump should be loosened. Once you’re back in the round, check for any loose spokes – they will ring duller than the others – and that none of the spoke threads are poking through the nipples. Now get the tyre on and get going.
