Who is Nick Al­li­son?

Lin­colnshire lad Nick was brought up be­tween Louth and Cad­well be­fore mov­ing to Jer­sey in ’83 (“I’m still a yel­low belly at heart – I’ve got the Lin­colnshire flag on my hel­met”). He started prod­die rac­ing in ’85 with a 350 YPVS, then raced in the CBR600 chal­lenge be­fore go­ing 1300 Na­tional level on a 1000 EXUP.

In 1989 he won the Early­stocks cham­pi­onship on a GS1000, al­though liv­ing in Jer­sey made it hard to chase other ti­tles. He’s also scared him­self rac­ing at the North West 200, had a crack at clas­sic en­durance, and been part of the UK team at the Phillip Is­land Clas­sic be­tween 20062009.
