Now in its 44th year, Mallory’s plum pudding races continue to offer super-unleaded-fuelled relief for those looking to escape a tedious post Chrimbo day with relatives, not to mention a racing fix several months before the season starts again. It’s cars and bikes, plus sidecars too, so there’s plenty to see. Gates open at 8.45am, practice starts at 9.45, racing begins at 11.30. Mallory’s canteen grub is legendary too.
