2000 The worst one...

“Living in West London after university I got a job in Surrey and got this CB750. The speed was fun after the 250, but it weighed about double and had dodgy electrics, barmuffs, and a habit of locking the front up under urban braking.”

2001 The best one...

“One of the best bikes ever made – a 1997 Honda CB400SF ‘Super-four’ Version-r no less. I even changed the oil in it and in a fit of coolness (!) put a furry purple cover on the saddle. Sold to a scouser for £800 as a project with 50,000km on it.”

2017 The one that got away...

“Bought it blind from a guy in Southampton for £800 and raced it home enjoying every minute. The LCD dash had gone like they do and eventually I sold it for £1495. Of course now I wish I still had it as it was great to ride and would suit my commute.”

2011 The current one...

“This is Juli on my 2005 Kawasaki Z750S. It’s fast, sleek and uncomfortable but easing off the preload means it doesn’t bounce me out of the seat A ZX-6R shock was followed by a ZX-6R swingarm and rear wheel, fitted by me in the back garden.”
