Bimota pushes retro buttons
The Bimota KB4 could hit UK showrooms in March this year with shakedown testing in full swing.
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000Sxpowered sportsbike features a single round headlight, sweeping ’70s lines hiding a full arsenal of the latest tech.
The latest images from the Kawasaki-owned Italian firm show the compact 1043cc four-cylinder machine undergoing brake tests, with outriggers on each side to help prevent accidents during the ABS development process.
The SX motor is a smart choice – around 125bhp at the tyre, with a wide spread of grunt, it’s a great road bike lump. Bimota is being coy about price: but its closest rival, the MV Agusta Superveloce 800, costs £17,780. We’d expect a figure in the low £20k region. Kinda old school, kinda cool.
