WHAT SOME OF OUR TEAM ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SUMMER

Pride Life Magazine - - Welcome -

MIKE ATKINSON

Having moved from Nottingham to North Yorkshire in the spring, I’ll mostly be spending the summer exploring my new surroundings. I’m also looking forward to seeing Bright Light Bright Light supporting Elton John on tour, and I’ll be hammering the debut albums from Nottingham’s Ronika (Selectadisc) and Indiana (No Romeo).

ROSIE WILBY

I have three things I’m looking forward to: I will be at Edinburgh Fringe again with my show Nineties Woman at the Voodoo Rooms at midday, Wimbledon is always of interest as I’m a huge tennis fan, and I’m also finally moving in with my girlfriend.

CARY GEE

I’m looking forward to catching up with Grace Jones (and trying on her new hats) at Wimbledon, celebrating 50 years of pirate radio on the Beat Boat Cruise Ship to Amsterdam — and Holland finally winning the World Cup. Hup Holland Hup!

KEPH SENETT

2014 is a World Cup year so this summer holds the promise of the most engaging stories, captivating players, and impressive football — at least until next year, when my home country hosts the Women’s World Cup.
