WHAT SOME OUR TEAM ENJOYED ABOUT AND WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2015
The things I’ve most enjoyed in 2014 were seeing in my tenth year working at Gay’s the Word and watching the film Pride which so beautifully portrayed the value of an independent LGBT UK bookshop and the positive change that arises from kindness and purpose. In 2015 I’m most looking forward to writing, reading and witnessing my friends growing stronger.
The thing I’ve enjoyed most in 2014 was our long, warm summer – it seemed to last from April to October! In 2015 I’m most looking forward to my husband launching his own business – it’ll keep him out the house and give me some peace and quiet…
The things I’ve enjoyed most of 2014 were: Ice swimming in Lapland, organising a huge beer and music festival in Devon, researching and writing a book on wild swimming on Dartmoor, watching Pride in the cinema, spending Christmas with my family in Aviemore. In 2015 I’m most looking forward to swimming adventures in Iceland and Egypt, going to the Eurovision Song Contest in Austria (and doing The Sound of Music Tour!), moving to a bigger house and going to the Glastonbury Festival.
