Newlife Clinic – where dreams become reality
Hi, I am Dr Uppal, a Fertility Consultant at Newlife Clinic in Epsom, Surrey.
Today, we are fortunate to live in a world where everyone’s culture, community, beliefs and choices are respected.
Britain has long been home to lots of different cultures and communities, and all of us have to be part of one society. Whilst it is right to celebrate the “positive contribution” diverse groups make to British life, nobody should be excluded from it or left behind.
We here at Newlife Clinic offer premium fertility treatment, both in terms of the technologies and techniques we have on offer, and our success rates which really do speak for themselves.
In this mystical, biological and technological process, at Newlife we offer a full range of assisted fertility and assisted conception assessments including Egg Freezing, treatment using donor sperm or partner sperm, along with specific treatment for recurrent implantation failure, IVF failure and recurrent miscarriages. We are specialists in providing immune supportive therapy based on immunological test results.
The primary requirement for a successful treatment is a good clinical assessment and laboratory quality. We have a state of the art lab, well equipped with the latest equipment and technologies, which include Time Lapse Imaging, electronic witnessing, and facilities to perform ICSI, embryo biopsy for PGD and PGS, along with egg and embryo freezing and storage. Our embryologists also use special mediums like EmbryoGen and Embryoglue in the indicated cases.
Our staff have been extensively trained, working in the field of fertility for many years and therefore have vast experience in providing treatment and care.
We have obsessive involvement in patient care and believe that no one treatment can be suitable for all. We provide a very individual approach and a tailor-made treatment plan for every couple or individual who approach us with delay in their fertility or fertility preservation.
In a good clinical assessment, it is mandatory to understand why fertility is delayed in that particular couple, this helps in fine-tuning the treatment options available for their own needs, and to understand the biological response potential. This assessment involves assessment of sperm quality, assessment of ovarian reserve and assessment of uterus and fallopian tubes.
Apart from normal semen analysis we have the facility for testing sperm DNA fragmentation in the indicated couples.
For ovarian assessment, along with an ultrasound scan to count the number of antral follicles, we consolidate this by testing AMH which is directly related to a woman’s fertility status.
Traditionally, tubes were tested by a procedure called Hysterosalpingogram, where a dye is injected and x-ray images are taken to see the filling of the tube. We have the facility to test the tubes by a hyfosy which is an ultrasound-based procedure and much less invasive.
Once a decision is made regarding the type of treatment, whether IUI or IVF, with partner sperm or donor sperm, we need to keep an eye on the response of the patient very closely to fine tune for optimal results.
From a laboratory point of view, the obsessive assessment, obsessive evaluation of their processes, and quality control measures all together add to the outcome that we strive to achieve.
These parameters in the primary clinical care and lab processes are what make Newlife a clinic with a difference and where dreams really can become a reality.
