Divine decorative eggs
Decorate coloured eggs with vintage-style floral images for a pretty place setting, gift or display them in a bowl
You will need
• Pale blue or white eggs
• Large needle
• Hand-bulb ear syringe
• Copyright-free decorative images (thegraphicsfairy.com)
• A4 white paper
• Clear, A4 inkjet water-slide decal paper
To make
❶ First, blow your eggs: with a needle, make a pin-size hole 1-2mm in diameter at each end of egg, then, using handbulb syringe, blow out the contents of the egg. Rinse clean and leave to dry.
❷ Compile an A4 page of images, each 3cm x 1.5cm. Print out on to plain paper to ensure you’re happy with the layout.
❸ Print on to water-slide decal paper. Cut out individual images and, following paper’s instructions, soak image and transfer on to the eggs. Leave to dry.
