Add freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice, or fruit juice to your water.

Keep a big jug of filtered water in the fridge and add flavouring­s, such as slices of cucumber or sprigs of mint.

Home-made herbal teas and infusions are great. Add fresh root ginger to hot water or a stick of cinnamon with a clove. Or make teas with herbs such as peppermint, camomile and fennel.
