De-age eyes and make them dazzle

-

HELP HOODED EYES

Use a darker shadow like Clinique Chubby Stick in Fuller Fudge (£17.50) in the crease to create the illusion of depth. And be generous with mascara, too.

TURN BACK THE CLOCK

A creamy concealer, such as Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer Illuminate (£24, Marks & Spencer) used over the eyelid helps to disguise any discolouration for an instant youth boost.

HIT REFRESH

A dot of MAC Cream Colour Base in Shell (£17) in the inner corner of the eyes will open them up and make you look fresh and well-rested, says MAC’S global ambassador Terry Barber.

OPEN UP

A natural beige-coloured liner applied to the inner lash line opens up the eyes, making them look wide awake and more youthful. We like Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl in Nude (£3.99).

BOOST BROWS

Bold, dark eyebrows might be on trend, but if you do the opposite and lighten your eyebrows, it has the magic effect of lifting the eye. Use a coloured powder one shade lighter than your natural tone for a subtle effect. Try Barry M Get Shapey Brow & Eyeshadow Palette (£6.49, Superdrug and Boots) and use the highlighter mixed with the brow shades to lighten.
