PANAMA HAT

The sun can ruin the condition and colour of your hair, with the effects lasting long after your holiday has ended. So tuck hair into a Panama hat (£20,

Accessorize), which will look glam and shade your face.

FACIAL MIST

Most people know to drink lots of water when it’s hot, but a refreshing facial spray will ensure skin stays hydrated from the outside, too. I love the soothing Caudalie Grape Water Spray (£6, Look Fantastic), as it’s suitable for sensitive skin.

POWDER BLOCK

I ‘set’ my concealer with Brush On Block (£24, Dermacare Direct) – a marvellous translucent mineral powder that also includes SPF30. It works just as well as a face powder as it does a face protector.

TRAVEL CANDLE

A must! Choose one that has a good concentration of oils to boost the effects of a relaxing break, such as Complete Bliss (£16, Neom Organics). Just remember you need to light it!

MASKS

As you know, I love a mask, and I use a holiday as an opportunity for some extra TLC. Just pop a few sachets in your case and the effects when combined with sun and sleep are amazing!

QUICK-DRYING TOPCOAT

Suncream, sand and chlorine can all dull toenail polish – disaster! To keep that pedi looking fresh, take a mini bottle of fast-drying topcoat, such as Sally Hansen Insta-dri (£5.45, Superdrug), and apply every two to three days.

TWO SHADES OF CONCEALER

Wearing foundation is a faff on holiday, but it’s nice to be able to even out skin tone. I usually take my regular shade of concealer and one that’s slightly darker, then blend them to match my skin as I tan. Stila Perfecting Concealer (£15.50, Marks

& Spencer) comes in 11 shades.

LEG BEAUTIFIER
