KEEP IT SIMPLE
There’s no doubt in my mind that decluttering worktops or, if you’re at the other end of the spectrum, putting lovely things on to a worktop, can make a big difference to a kitchen. Start by getting lots of potted growing herbs. You could hang up shelves to add height to the display. Once you’ve introduced a bit of nature, try to lose some of the less natural things. For example, you could buy attractive storage containers to hide as much food packaging as possible. Add to that a few colourful accent pieces, such as a Roberts Radio or utensil pot, and you’ll have a smarter kitchen without having to try too hard.
