Wear make-up

-

It turns out foundation could actually be good for your skin, especially if you live in a city. Pollution is thought to cause age spots and apparently enters the body through pores which, in the long term, could potentially lead to negative effects on brain health. A layer of foundation can act as a protective barrier.

ANNABEL SAYS: ‘I slather on an anti-pollution serum, then a moisturiser, and then an anti-pollution foundation. I’m hoping to protect my skin and my brain in one fell swoop.’

TRY… using products with an anti-pollution element alongside those with an SPF, so you can battle the ageing effects of the sun at the same time.
