A QUESTION OF COLOUR
I once went to a house where they’d painted all the fences white, as well as the bottom halves of the trees in front of the fences, to ‘keep it neutral’! It looked so peculiar. I think you can be brave with colour in a garden, but make sure there’s something that ties it all together. Your fences should act as a backdrop for everything else, rather than be a feature themselves. It’s worth using a colour that weathers well, too – as weather it will!
