Update your room with this easy-to-make cushion.

YOU WILL NEED

✽ Cushion pad

✽ Patterned fabric large enough to cover the width of the cushion ✽ Plain fabric for borders

✽ Scissors

✽ Sewing machine

✽ Iron

✽ Zip

TO MAKE

❶ Decide on ratio of patterned fabric to plain borders.

❷ Cut two main pieces and four border pieces, allowing for seam allowance (1.5cm) on all sides.

❸ With right sides together, attach a border to the top and bottom of each of the main pieces.

❹ Press the seams flat.

❺ Place right sides together; stitch together top and side seams, taking care to match where border seams are stitched to main pieces. Turn right side out.

❻ Insert the zip at the bottom edge, either by hand or machine. Insert cushion pad.
