MATERIALS
3(3:4) 100g balls of Wendy Supreme DK in White 1820. Pair each of 3.25mm and 3.75mm knitting needles. 3.25mm circular needle, no more than 40cm long.
TENSION
23 sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over st-st using 3.75mm needles.

Work 15 rows in st-st. Rep the last 16 rows twice more, then the inc row once again. 107(119:131) sts. Cont straight in st-st until back measures 28(30:32)cm from cast on edge, ending with a p row.
** Shape armholes
Cast off 9 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 4 sts at beg of foll 2 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows. 73(85:97) sts. Next row K2, ssk, k to last 4 sts, k2tog, k2. Next row P to end. Rep the last 2 rows 3(5:7) times more. 65(73:81) sts. Cont straight until back measures 38(40:42)cm, ending with a WS row.
Shape neck
Next row (RS) K20(23:26), turn and cont on these sts only, leave rem sts on a spare needle. Cast off 4 sts at beg (neck edge) of next row, 3 sts at beg of foll WS row, 2 sts at beg of next 2(3:4) WS rows, then dec 1 st at neck edge on next 3 WS rows. 6(7:8) sts. Cont straight in st-st until back measures 48(51:54)cm from cast on edge, ending with a WS row. Cast off rem sts. With RS facing, slip 25(27:29) sts at centre back on to a holder, rejoin yarn to rem 20(23:26) sts, cast off 4 sts, k to end. P 1 row. Cast off 3 sts at beg (neck) edge of next row, 2 sts at beg of next 2(3:4) RS rows, then dec 1 st at neck edge on next 3 RS rows. 6(7:8) sts. Cont straight in st-st until back measures 48(51:54)cm from cast on edge, ending with a WS row. Cast off rem sts.
FRONT
With 3.75mm needles, cast on 99(111:123) sts. Moss st
row K1, [p1, k1] to end. Rep this row 5 times more. Now work in patt as follows: 1st row (RS) K47(53:59), k2tog, yf, k1, yf, ssk, k to end. 2nd row P to end. These 2 rows form the patt and are repeated throughout. Patt 10 rows. Inc row (RS) K2, m1, patt to last 2 sts, m1, k2. Taking inc sts into st-st, patt 15 rows. Rep the last 16 rows twice more, then the inc row once again. 107(119:131) sts. Cont straight in patt until front measures 28(30:32)cm from cast on edge, ending with a p row. Keeping patt correct, work as given for Back from ** to end.
EDGINGS
Join both shoulder seams.
With RS facing, 3.25mm circular needle and beg at left shoulder, pick up and k29(31:33) sts down left front neck, k25(27:29) sts at centre front, pick up and k30(32:34) sts up right front neck, and k29(31:33) sts down right back neck, k across 25(27:29) sts at centre back, then pick up and k30(32:34) sts up left back neck. 168(180:192) sts. 1st round [K1, p1] to end of round. 2nd round [P1, k1] to end of round. Cast off in moss st.
ARMHOLE EDGES
With RS facing and 3.25mm needles, pick up and k117(123:129) sts evenly around armhole edge. Work 2 rows in moss st as given for Back. Cast off in moss st.
TO MAKE UP
Join side seams.
