Doctor Foster’s SURANNE JONES stars in BBC One’s

Gentleman Jack this month, and she’s undergone quite a transformation for the role. The eight-parter sees her step into the shoes of 19th-century industrialist Anne Lister, who charmed her way into high society and planned – to the horror of her neighbours – to marry a woman. Writer and director Sally Wainwright told us, ‘I was blown away by how much Suranne brought to this role. She put her heart and soul into it and came up with ideas I would never have thought of.’
