HOW TO MAKE FAUX TERRACOTTA VASES

TO MAKE

❶ Wipe the vase with a damp cloth to remove grease or dirt. Add add 1tbsp of baking powder to a large cup.

❷ Now fill the cup with paint.

❸ Stir with a spatula to ensure the paint and baking powder are thoroughly combined. It will become frothy and mousselike in consistency.

❹ Paint directly on to the ceramic vase using a regular paintbrush, making the brush strokes as even as possible. Paint the inside rim of the vase, down to where you can see (leaving the remainder of the interior unpainted, so you can still fill it with water). Allow to dry completely and then it is ready to fill with flowers!
