VINTAGE LINEN

Whip up a simple cushion cover made from a tea towel. Only a little sewing needed!

YOU WILL NEED

✽ Vintage linen tea towel (similar from parna.co.uk) ✽ Cushion pad to fit ✽ Pins ✽ Sewing machine ✽ Thread

TO MAKE

❶ Fold the tea towel with right sides showing, so the overlapping ‘envelope’ opening at the back sits just over halfway down. The towel edge is already hemmed. Make sure your cushion pad will fit inside.

❷ Pin the flat folded tea towel. ❸ Sew down both short ends, leaving 3-4cm of border on both sides. Again, the very edges of the tea towel are already hemmed.

❹ Remove the pins and insert your cushion pad.
