Blossom watch
This spring, the National Trust will run its popular #Blossomwatch campaign, to encourage people to capture and share blossom images in their neighbourhoods and parks emulating hanami, the ancient Japanese tradition of viewing and celebrating blossom as the first sign of spring. The head gardeners have compiled suggestions of beautiful blossom trees that you can grow in your own garden.
On 15 April, the National Trust
publishes its first comprehensive ‘how-to’ gardening book, The National Trust School Of Gardening,
£20, filled with ideas and expertise that’s translatable even in small spaces, including sustainable gardening and designing a garden.
