I’ve rarely read a book that has made me feel so grounded.

The story centres around a young, mute, female Syrian refugee now living in the UK; from her window, she watches the comings and goings of her neighbours. Exploring themes of belonging, violence, prejudice and safety, I highly recommend it. 4 March
