CANCER CHECKLIST
Although most of the time the following symptoms don’t mean it’s cancer, don’t ignore them. Talk to your GP if you have:
● A change in bowel habit
● Urinary difficulties
● Recurrent heartburn
● A nagging cough or shortness of breath
● Pain or discomfort that keeps coming back
● Weight loss for no apparent reason
● Unexpected blood loss from any orifice (including post-menopausal and post-coital bleeding)
● Difficulty swallowing
● Feeling full despite eating very little
● Hoarse voice or sore throat lasting more than three weeks
● Any persistent health problem that worries you
