Seek medical help if…
● Your headache occurs suddenly and you’re in blinding pain, unlike anything experienced before.
● You have a severe persistent headache that doesn’t go away and gets worse over time.
● A headache is triggered suddenly by coughing, laughing, sneezing, changes of posture, or physical exertion.
● You have other symptoms that suggest a problem with your brain or nervous system, including weakness, slurred speech, confusion, memory loss and drowsiness.
● It’s accompanied by a fever, stiff neck, a rash or vision problems.
