Just a hunch!

Guilty of the desk slump? ‘Most of us are,’ says Pilates guru Lynne Robinson (bodycontrolpilates.com). ‘Rounded shoulders with the neck compressed can lead to headaches, as muscles trying to support your head shorten and tighten. Any bad posture can radiate up the spine and cause headaches.’ Long-term, Pilates is ideal for building a stronger, longer posture, but for instant upper back and neck relief, try shoulder drops. Lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat on the floor. Raise both arms above your shoulders, palms facing. Breathe in as you raise one arm towards the ceiling. Breathe out as you drop the shoulder blade back down. Repeat up to 10 times on each side.
