Our ideal night in begins with… Shirlie: Cooking a home-made meal. We both love healthy food and
I don’t eat meat, so I’d normally cook salmon in maple syrup.

S: Family is important to us both, so our husbands, Martin and James, as well our children, will be there.

S: Champagne! We always put the glasses in the freezer, too, so they’re nice and chilled.
Our best-ever dinner party was…
S: In the 1980s we had the best dinner parties because we were young and had so much energy. Pepsi was always good at Djing, so she’d make sure the right music was playing.
Pepsi: The food was always delicious. Shirlie makes a yummy veggie lasagne and Martin makes great sushi. They are both good cooks.
Our worst dinner party disaster was…
S: I once dropped a whole dish on the floor! I’d made a curry and the entire room got splattered in sauce, but we laughed it off and ordered takeaway.
Our night-in essential is...
P: Lots of candles and fresh flowers – we love a girlie night. Our current boxset of choice is… P: I’ve been watching Big Little Lies, which inspired a visit to Monterey, California, where it’s filmed. S: Martin and I have been binge-watching Poldark together.
We’ll hit the hay at…
S: 10pm. Pepsi and I both go to bed early as we’re morning people.
