RPWL (right) are dipping into their sci-fi collections for their concept album
Tales From Outer Space, out via Gentle Art Of Music/ Soulfood on March 22. The Bavarian four-piece will air the new songs during their European tour this April. French prog-jazz-metal trio Mörglbl release Story Of
Scott Rötti via Laser’s Edge imprint Free Electric Sound on February 1. It’s the band’s seventh album and will be followed by a live DVD commemorating their 20th anniversary later this year. Tony Patterson and Riversea’s Brendan Eyre are following up their 2014 album
Northlands with Light this year. Says Patterson, “Where
Northlands was more organic sounding and orchestral in parts, Light will be more experimental and electronic.”
Brighteye Brison are releasing their long-awaited fifth album V in May as part of a new deal with Bad Elephant Music. It’s the Swedish quintet’s first recording since 2011’s complex symphonic offering
