Miles Davis’ Rubberband Of Life is out on September 6 on Rhino/Warner. The 11-track was originally recorded in 1985 but never released. It marks a stylistic departure for the experimental jazz trumpeter and the cover art includes one of his paintings.

Sons Of Apollo’s (left) Live With The Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony is out through InsideOut on August 30. The CD/DVD package documents the band’s one-off orchestral performance in Bulgaria last year. The band’s second album is due next year.
